About Boniface D. Satu

Boniface has over 26 years of professional experience, including over seven years of direct experience in the road sector as Deputy Chief of Party managing a USAID-funded 25 million feeder road alternative maintenance project at the Ministry of Public Works. This project focused on capacity building in road maintenance, road cost recovery, and alternative low-volume seal surfacing. Other experiences include serving as the first chief executive officer of the National Road Fund, R.L., managing over 25 million annually. Boniface is a seasoned project coordinator experienced in public sector economic governance and institutional reforms through engagement with the World Bank, working with a National Consultant in health sector reforms. Boniface has experience dealing with a variety of road sector stakeholders (donors, contractors, legislatures, state-owned enterprises, and MACs), leveraging his extensive experience working in corporate America. He is an astute community leader in the diaspora (USA) and Liberia. Boniface is a member of two international organizations: the African Road Fund Maintenance Association (ARFMA), which includes 34 countries, nine of which are in West, East, and Central Africa, and the International Road Federation, which is based in the United States of America and represents 113 countries worldwide. The Tanzanian Road Agency (TANROADS) issued Boniface an executive certificate in road asset management after attending several regional road seminars and garnering lessons from national and international sectors.

Boniface holds a double Master's degree--a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master's in Financial Management and Information Technology (MS).
